Russia’s Rosoboronexport has so far sold over 50 Orlan-10E reconnaissance drones, head of the company Alexander Mikheev revealed today.
Two likely customers of the Orlan-10E are Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan.
The company is currently holding 10 contract negotiations on the delivery of the Orion-E reconnaissance and strike drone abroad, Mikheev added.
“Rosoboronexport notes a serious increase in foreign partners’ interest in Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicles. We are preparing to launch new samples in the near future, including kamikaze drones and heavy attack vehicles,” Mikheev was quoted as saying by the company’s press service ahead of the EDEX-2021 defense exhibition in Cairo (Egypt), which will be held from November 29 to December 2.
