The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has listed all details of its biological threat reduction program in the country that is currently fighting the Russian forces.
The American government says the program aims to “counter the threat of outbreaks (deliberate, accidental, or natural) of the world’s most dangerous infectious diseases.” It accomplishes its bio-threat reduction mission through development of a bio-risk management culture; international research partnerships; and partner capacity for enhanced bio-security, bio-safety, and bio-surveillance measures.
“The Biological Threat Reduction Program’s priorities in Ukraine are to consolidate and secure pathogens and toxins of security concern and to continue to ensure Ukraine can detect and report outbreaks caused by dangerous pathogens before they pose security or stability threats,” the Embassy noted on its website.
A report by Strange Sounds claimed that the Embassy removed all their Ukraine Bioweapon lab documents – funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) – from their website on February 26, two days after Russia invaded Ukraine. These documents can still be found in the archives.
The U.S. has eight bio-weapons military labs in Ukraine. These labs are co-run by Fauci’s EcoHealth Alliance and rumor is Russia’s entire military operation right now is unofficially to either secure and/or destroy these labs and gather evidence, the report claimed.
U.S. Denies Russian Claims of Biowarfare Labs in Ukraine
Moscow claimed that Washington was working with Kyiv to develop biological weapons in the vicinity of the Ukraine-Russia border.
The U.S. denied and called the allegations “preposterous.” It further warned that Russia might seek to use chemical or biological weapons during its ongoing offensive on Ukraine.“We took note of Russia’s false claims about alleged U.S. biological weapons labs and chemical weapons development in Ukraine. We’ve also seen Chinese officials echo these conspiracy theories,” Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary tweeted Thursday.
“This is preposterous. It’s the kind of disinformation operation we’ve seen repeatedly from the Russians over the years in Ukraine and in other countries, which have been debunked, and an example of the types of false pretexts we have been warning the Russians would invent,” she added.
Psaki said the U.S. is in full compliance with its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological Weapons Convention and does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere.
“It’s Russia that has a long and well-documented track record of using chemical weapons, including in attempted assassinations and poisoning of Putin’s political enemies like Alexey Navalny,” the top official further stated. “It’s Russia that continues to support the Assad regime in Syria, which has repeatedly used chemical weapons. It’s Russia that has long maintained a biological weapons program in violation of international law.”
She further claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s troops may be preparing to use chemical and biological weapons in Ukraine.
