Russian Forces Intercept 4 Bayraktar TB-2 Drones, 1 Missile While in Flight

Russian Forces brought down 4 Bayraktar TB-2 drones besides a Tochka-U tactical missile, while they were in flight.

The equipment used in this offensive action was not specified during a Russian MoD briefing this morning. “During the day, aviation and air defense of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down five unmanned aerial vehicles in the air, of which two were Bayraktar TB-2 and one Tochka-U tactical missile,” Major General Igor Konashenkov, Russian MoD Spokesperson said today.

He added that a high-precision long-range weapon hit the main center of radio and electronic intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Brovary.

Operational-tactical and army aviation hit 145 Ukrainian objects including: three Buk M-1 anti-aircraft missile systems, eight command and control centers and communication centers, five ammunition depots and fuel and lubricants, 78 places where military equipment was accumulated.

A total of 3,491 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities were put out of action during the operation. Destroyed: 123 UAVs, 1,127 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 115 multiple launch rocket systems, 423 field artillery and mortar guns, 934 units of special military vehicles.

“Units of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic, with the fire support of the Russian Armed Forces, continued offensive operations and took control of the settlements of Valerianovka and Zeleny Gay, and also blocked Novoandreevka from the south and east. The advance in depth was 9km,” Konashenkov added.

Russian armed forces reached the settlements of Novodonetskoye, Novomayorskoye, Pavlovka and continue their offensive on a wide front with adjacent flanks with a grouping of troops of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk Republic. Promotion per day amounted to 21km, the spokesman said.
